MOSCOW, 16 May (BelTA) – Vladimir Putin will pay his first visit to Belarus as Russian President on 31 May, chief of the presidential press service Pavel Lyogky told BelTA.
He noted that the relevant agreement had been reached during the talks at the Kremlin.

Belarus benefits from cooperation with China

MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – Cooperation with China is beneficial and promising for Belarus, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said when answering the questions from MPs.
According to the President, speculations about the alleged threats coming from close links with China are politically and economically biased. “Who wants a new China in the center of Europe? You know who. They shudder to think about China coming here, building its production facilities, investing its funds, and helping us in a bid to secure friendly relations with a country in the center of Europe,” Alexander Lukashenko said.  |

30 countries participate in Spring in Gomel fair

GOMEL, 16 May (BelTA) – About 250 participants from almost 30 countries have come to Gomel to take part in the 13th international exhibition-fair Spring in Gomel that has opened in the Dinamo exhibition manege on 16 May, BelTA has learnt.
This forum is the biggest regional exhibition in Belarus. Taking part in it are big companies and organizations, and small businesses from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Moldova, Lithuania, Italy and other countries.  |

Twenty-eight countries to attend Gomel Economic Forum

GOMEL, 11 May (BelTA) – Attending the Gomel Economic Forum due on 18 May will be representatives of 28 countries, BelTA learnt from Oksana Korneenko, the chief of the science and investment department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
According to her, it is possible that more countries will apply to participate. “We expect around 400 guests, including delegations from Germany, France, Italy, Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, and Vietnam.  |
